Training Courses for Dementia Care
With the support from the Hong Kong Jockey Club Community Project Grant, JCCPA continues to organise the training prorgramme for caregivers
The half-day intensive training course “Oral Health, Nutrition and Meal Design” was successfully held on 16 December. Our Senior Training Consultant, Dr. Maria Chui, has shared with over 80 caregivers about daily oral health maintenance, feeding guidelines, and the importance of food and nutrition for individuals with dementia.
Registration for the January 2024 training course is now available. The first and second seminars will be held on 27 January (Saturday) at 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Our registered social worker, Ms Ally Lam will introduce some basic knowledge of dementia and tactics for taking care of people with dementia in different aspects.
