Jockey Club Caring Communities for Dementia Campaign

In October, ibeacon are distributed by courier so that everyone can apply our service at their own place. Simultaneously, online videos and teaching materials were prepared for the caregivers to complete the application as well as getting know more about dementia. In this month, there were around 40 caregivers received ibeacon.

"1+2" Family Caregivers Training Course

The one-day intensive training course was successfully held on 29 October. Mr. Andrew Lau, registered social worker, has shared with over 100 caregivers regarding the knowledge and tactics on how to take care people with dementia including basic knowledge of dementia, daily schedule and health management, communication and health care skills, community resources and arrangement, etc. He also addressed various enquires from caregivers with practical suggestions during the talk.
