"1+2" Family Caregivers Training Course

JCCPA launches the new “1+2 Family Caregivers Training Course” in 2021. The first “One Day Intensive Training” was conducted on 30 January 2021 via an online platform

Our Training Consultant, Mr. Andrew Lau, shared with the family caregivers about the issues related to dementia care. The content comprised a wide variety, covering basic knowledge of dementia, environmental design, communication skills, behavior, psychological performance treatment, dementia caring, prevention of getting lost, etc.

More than 175 participants joined the training. Andrew responded and advised the caregivers according to their caring cases and how to overcome various challenges when caring for people with dementia. The training was in a pleasant atmosphere; participants raised questions and responded very enthusiastically. We sincerely hope the practice could help them alleviate their difficulties and pressures.
