The Jockey Club Discharge Support and Rehabilitation Programme aims to help people with dementia to rehabilitate and adapt to home life after hospitalisation. This year, we also held a celebration for Christmas. We distributed brochures on dementia knowledge to over 300 seniors in Tuen Mun and engaged them with games to explain six key cognitive functions. We express our gratitude to MTR for inviting us to exhibit, allowing us to educate seniors about dementia. To promote the concept of \u201cActive Ageing\u201d among those aged 50 and above, our center collaborated with the Jockey Club to hold the 50+ Service Expo on 12 December at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.<\/p><p>At the expo, we introduced the Jockey Club \u201cBrain Health\u201d Dementia Screening and Community Support Project, providing vision and hearing health tests on-site, attracting over 100 seniors to participate and learn more. We are very grateful for the support from all sectors. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the speakers who took time out of their busy schedules to present. They explored the reasons behind the behaviors of people with dementia and care strategies from a \u201cperson-centered\u201d and various professional perspective, and interpreted different assessment tools.
