This 3-year innovative pilot project aims to support people who are suspected\/diagnosed with younger onset dementia and also their family caregivers.<\/p><p>In order to enhance the understanding of dementia among family caregivers, two basic training courses were held on 21 October. Ms Ally Lam, registered social worker, shared with over 150 caregivers, regarding the symptoms of dementia, communication skills, effective caregiving tactics on taking care people with dementia in different stages and care plan via interactive ways such as games, videos and textual content.
