Simultaneously, online videos and teaching materials were prepared to assist caregivers to finish the application process as well as getting know more about dementia at their own place. Mr. Andrew Lau, registered social worker, has shared with over 200 caregivers regarding the knowledge and tactics on how to take care people with dementia including basic knowledge of dementia, daily schedule and health management, communication and health care skills, community resources and arrangement, etc. He also addressed various enquires from caregivers with practical suggestions during the talk.<\/p><p>What\u2019s more, we have invited a caregiver Ms Lee to share her experience on communicating and taking care people with dementia and how her domestic helper could offer assistance and building a good relationship with the caregiver as well as the people with dementia.<\/p><p>The next training course will be held on 21 May (Sat). We will hold a half-day intensive training course which focusing on psychiatric medication.
