PNA can be done by anyone at all age without any experience in art. In this training, we continue to investigate how to design supportive service for people with dementia and the family caregivers in Hong Kong.<br \/><br \/>We were much honored to have invited Prof Timothy Kwok, Director of JCCPA and Professor, Department of Medicine &amp; Therapeutics, Faculty of Medicine, CUHK to deliver the topic on Primary Care of Dementia and Medication. Prof Adrian Wong, Research Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine &amp; Therapeutics, CUHK shared the intervention of a healthy lifestyle. If anyone observed that the elderly in the family demonstrated a significant decline in memory and cognitive impairment, but not sure whether such changes were due to normal ageing or dementia, please feel free to contact our programme staff to arrange a detailed cognitive assessment. PDSP provides supportive service to people who have diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) and dementia of early stage within one year, as well as their family caregivers. Because of the latest development of COVID-19, the elderly and the caregivers may decide to receive supportive service via telephone, online video conference or e-learning platform on a free-of-charge basis.<\/p><p>PDSP provides free educational talk and the cognitive test for different NGOs, organizations and for those who aged 50 or above.<\/p><p>An e-learning platform is now opened for caregivers who are now taking care of people with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI)\u00a0and early stages of dementia, to address their needs in dementia knowledge, caring tips, emotional support and resources. PDSP also provides supports to the family caregivers on developing their caring plans. Our social worker, Ms. Ally Lam, conducted two sessions of educational for JCCPA staff to promote their understanding on people with dementia through interactive dementia experiences and role play on 7 May and 14 May.
