Books Sale Day

Since its launched in 2002, Resources Centre of the Jockey Club Centre for Positive Ageing has been serving as a centre of information, resources, and support for families of dementia people and the professionals who work with elderly and demented clients. With the rapid development of technology, a trend of decreasing usage of the resource centre is found. As considering the making better use of the resources, we have decided the resource centre will be closed at the end of this month. We appreciate the support of all the members and clients’ families. We indeed apologize for any inconvenience the closure and thank the members for their understanding. For the collections in the resources centre, we will have the following arrangement:

Partial collections will be on sale and the prices of these books are in HKD10 or HKD30. Details are as follows:

Time: 9am to 5pm
Location: 2/F Resources Centre, 27 A Kung Kok Street, Shatin, NT

Remarks:
1. To support building a green environment, please bring your own shopping bags.
2. Books are available on a first come, first served basis. No book reservation service is provided.
3. Each individual can purchase up to 10 items.
4. Please tender exact fare.
5. No exchange or refund.

The income of the books sale will be used in our training programs and research projects. The remaining books after books sale will be donated to the libraries of Chinese University of Hong Kong and Shatin Hospital. For books sale enquiry, please call 2636 6323.
